Street address, town and country of both parties are written as separate fields in the newer Swift layout (required there) and added after the name in the older one (optional there).

The expiry date is not asked for: it is set to the latest shipment date plus the presentation period, so the credit cannot expire before you are able to present.

At sight: you are paid as soon as your documents comply. Cash arrives fastest and you carry no waiting cost, but your buyer has to fund the full amount the moment the documents arrive.

Partial shipments allowedLets the goods ship in several consignments, useful for large or staged orders. UCP 600 allows partial shipments unless the credit prohibits them (Art. 31); if it does, everything has to ship at once.Transhipment allowedLets the goods change vessel or transport mode on the way. UCP 600 allows it unless the credit prohibits it, and for containerised cargo a bill of lading may show transhipment even if the credit prohibits it (Art. 20(c)).TransferableLets you, as first beneficiary (typically a trader), transfer all or part of the credit to your actual supplier.
